A healthy version of a recipe does not always taste good but this healthy Chilean crab meat and avocado dip is delicious. The usual dip ingredients of cream cheese and mayonnaise are gone replaced with healthy avocados. This is a very easy dip to prepare that tastes so good.
1 pound Seatech Crab Meat
4 ripe avocados
1/4-1/2 bunch of cilantro leaves chopped
1/2 cup sweet onion minced
1/2 tsp garlic minced
3 Tbsp fresh squeezed lime juice
2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
Salt to taste
Dash of red pepper flakes (optional)
1/4 cup pine nuts (optional)
Remove pit and skin from avocados. Cut into small pieces, place in mixing bowl and lightly crush leaving some big pieces. Add lime juice, cilantro, onion, garlic, red pepper flakes, pine nuts, olive oil, crab meat and stir ingredients together. Taste and add salt if needed. Serve with tortilla or pita chips.
