This is not just a crab cake placed on a bun it is Seatech Chilean Crab Meat blended with minimum ingredients for a full flavor delicious burger.
1 pound Seatech Chilean Crab Meat
1 slice white bread
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 scallions (sliced)
2 tsp lemon zest
salt and pepper to taste
1 medium tomato sliced
Brioche burger buns
1 cup light mayonnaise
1 Tbsp cilantro leaves (chopped)
1 garlic clove (minced)
2-3 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
2 tsp lime juice
salt to taste
To create the sauce blend all the ingredients in a bowl making sure to smash the chipotle peppers into small pieces adding salt to taste. Cover sauce and place in refrigerator.
For the burger pulse the slice of bread in a food processor to create coarse crumbs. Combine mayonnaise, scallions, lemon zest, salt and pepper in a large bowl until well blended. Gently blend in the Chilean crab meat and bread crumbs until incorporated. Divide mixture into four equal parts. Form four burger patties approximately 1 in thick. Place on a tray, cover and refrigerate for at least minutes.
Grill the Chilean Crab patties on medium to medium-high for 3-5 minutes on each side until heated through. Place patty on a bun and top with lettuce and sliced tomato. Spread Chipotle mayonnaise on top bun and server.
Serve with sweet potato fries
Serve with a nice green salad
Make patties smaller and serve as sliders on brioche rolls
