This Sweet and spicy chili mussel recipe is very easy to make and quite tasty. They are great as an appetizer on game day with a nice cold beer.
1 Lb. mussel meat (thawed)
2 green onions (scallions) sliced
1 tablespoon Chili Garlic Sauce
2 tablespoons Sweet Chili Sauce
1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
In a non-reactive bowl mix the Chili Garlic Sauce, Sweet Chili Sauce and Soy Sauce until well blended. Place the mussel meat in the bowl with the chili sauce. Add sliced scallions and gently stir. Place in a sealed container and chill for at least one hour. For best results refrigerate overnight.
Serve on a tray with toothpicks.
Serve on crackers.
Warm and server over rice.
Warm and serve over spinach.
